Hey Can LA TA's Help a NYC TA coming this weekend for Coachella?

Hey looking for some advice on where to go this weekend in LA. I will be there friday to monday for Coachella...... Been in the seen for 10 years (NYC and South Beach).... I am coming out there to see my friends from M.A.N.D.Y. on Sunday.
I know Dubfire is playing Saturday? Not sure if I am up for harder stuff but may want to check out some nice venues....
Looking for something to do definitely Friday Night as My chick and I get in around midnight.....

You do understand that Cochella is about 3 hours east right? Which day or days are you doing Cochella. M.A.N.D.Y. is Sunday right?
Since you are only here for Sat night I'd recommend Vanguard til 4 and Avalon til 7. (get some sleep on the way to Palm Springs...) |

Yeah 140 miles from LA, got a car. Not sure if I will go Saturday AND Sunday (MANDY) to the festival....

Don't come back Saturday night if you are already out there on Saturday...go to a casino or something...there are some good Vegas style casinos out there. (Morongo, Aqua Caliente, Spa and Trump come to mind....maybe one in Indio called Spotlight something?)
Morongo looks identical to Palms Las Vegas. Even has a nightclub (Key Club or another name) and a bar on the roof. (similar to Palm's Ghost Bar)
If you go Sunday, then do Vanguard and Avalon Sat night. |
