| LOL, I saw this video yesterday and actually thought about posting it here but I saw it totally going the opposite way and filled with fat jokes, so I decided against it because the message behind it is actually very positive. That sounds gay as , I know, but it's still true. |

You are completely missing the point. It's about judging people based on superficial things before knowing what's inside. ;)
Everyone makes fun of her and you can see Simon Cowell just being condescending as with her at the beginning. There's even a stupid girl rolling her eyes and cringing when she says she wants to be a professional singer. |

I think it was because everyone was being judgmental based on her appearance alone, laughing and scoffing at her when she said she wanted to be famous etc. Then despite the negative way they treated her, she was still as sweet as could be and showed them that she is incredible.
I never heard of Paul Potts, but did he have so many people "against" him right from the get go?
Meh, I think it's sweet, but more importantly, the clip of Simon looking like he is in love makes me crack up laughing and is in need of a giffing. |

on no i got it but this isn't the first time ever that someone has been judged by their looks nor is it the first time someone has surprised a television audience. i don't see this as an isolated incident so that's why i really don't care. one of my co-workers cried while watching this and i think that's absolutely absurd. |

Crying is completely stupid, I agree. However, I did feel a little something inside me that said "pay attention , this is exactly the sort of that you do". It's not like I do it consciously, or express it like the people in the video do, but I do think a lot of things and laugh my ass off inside my head whenever I meet people like her. |
