So I like plays, and yes I know I'm a guy; if you think thats "gay" well you!
So now that that's out of the way; lets hear some recommendations.
I have not seen many
I have seen Da Kink In My Hair, The Boyfriend, and Mama Mia. I wanted to see Wicked, but didn't get a chance to.
What have you seen? Was it good? Reviews? Recommendations? Any upcoming plays coming to Toronto?
Discuss here.
ENJOY :gsmile: |

| Two of my personal favorite plays are A Streetcar Named Desire by Tennessee Williams, and No Exit by Sartre. I'm not much into recent plays. |

| If you can see an Agatha Christie play...do it! Ten Little Indians (AKA And Then There Were None) is my favorite. You should really check out some of the plays put on by the University Players Rob. I've been to a few and they were all great. My parents have season tickets. |

I saw it with my girlfriend! And you know what it was actually the best of the 3! I actually thought the play had good meaning and was really well done. |

I love theatre and wish I could take better advantage of being near Broadway so much...
I tend to flock to musicals but also enjoy plays.
Wicked is just as the title alludes to.. WICKED.
Mary Poppins was amazing... as soon as it finished I wanted it to start all over again. I bought Supercalifragilisticexpialidous on I-tunes as soon as I got home.
Fuerz Bruta - is playing off Broadway in NY. It was one of the funniest things I have done in NY. It is interactive and the crowd moves with the show.
They have turned Priscilla Queen of the Dessert into a musical and are bringing it to Toronto late 2009/early 2010. I think I am most excited to see that.
Saw a play in London a couple of years ago called Someone to Watch Over You. It was very well written. If it comes any where near you I recommend seeing it.
I have seen all the big travelling shows as well... and Tommy and Miss Saigon were my favorite of those.
Usually make a trip or 2 to Stratford every year as well....
Next on my list to see is In the Heights which one the Tony in 2008. It is just a matter of finding the time to do it. |

The Sound of Music sucked...
They made way too many changes from the film...
I liked Mama Mia...
We Will Rock You was meh...
Evil Dead the Musical was great but it's over now... |

It's definitely no Broadway. But I find them quite entertaining, and cheap. Especially when there's not much variety for play's in Windsor now that the Capital Theatre is closed. |

| The only time I have been out to a show, if you want to call them that, was to see Evil Dead the Musical and We Will Rock you, both excellent. |
