What kind of performance boost can I expect with this upgrade? (pg. 18)

it is more the resoning he uses i find so god damn facinating. Like if you were to meet a real life KKK member and actually get the chance to listen to him speak. To hear someone say such silly things and the resoning behind them in such a civil manner.

I can't turn away. I'm convinced he has some sort of lesion in whatever part of the brain deals with logic and reasoning.

Yeah i agree about that.

I guess it could be something in the lines of If you really believe it strongly enough it becomes reality

If going from 0 latency to 512, and removing clicks and pops isn't "better audio quality"...then what is it? And in terms of audio quality, how does going from 512-2048 lower it again?

Let me summarize what you guys said or implied:

1. Low latency has 0 effect on quality.

2. High latency has 0 effect on quality.

3. Low latency causes bad quality on low end sound cards.

4. High latency increases the quality on low end sound cards.

5. Higher than needed latency reduces quality on any card.

I have to be honest, Ive never seen such an organized group of people out of touch with logic.

Like Diginut who believes specifically bouncing to wav is faster than hitting one freeze button. It confounds the mind!

I feel like a Calicoat Cat meeting and group of Siamese Cats for the first time and everyone is like "wtf?" Understanding you guys points is actually intriguing now. It seems like your not just trolling.

I think Cronodevir might be right after all.

I did an test where i tested both 512 and 2048 latency settings on the soundcard.

The difference was huge, check the samples.

2048 sample

512 sample

He is probably talking about offline processing, different than bouncing.

I had a p4 D 3.0Ghz too, upgraded to a quad core 9450 and never looked back, I still max it out but can actually finish tracks now by doing abit of audio bouncing, I do like the look of those dedicated FX cards that come with dedicated reverbs like the dreamverb, £500 + though :/
