When signing up for the Guestlist tonight, I found that i did not get confirmation after i signed up. :conf:

Between the time I moved to LA and mid-July (when Markus comes backt o SF...according to his website/MySpace *cough*), this was most def one of the top three nights of interest that I have been aware of, and I can't be there.
Sucks. Someone fly me up! I'll do promoting down here in LA or something in return! hehe...

| Super fun night!!! Taj KILLED it opening!!!!! He played lots of house!! i was so excite! didnt get to stay tooo long for Steves set.. about an hour... but he was full of energy like always :D I saw some of Matts vids tho.. and he played some SUPER classic tunes... seems like everyone was out in full force for this night... ruby was pretty packed early on... yay fun!!!!!!! :gsmile: |

I know 2Tall was taking pics that night. It should be out soon.
I'm disappointed that most TAs left early. I only saw Matt hanging out til about the end. I left in the middle of Steve's last track. Fun evening indeed but I think Steve played better when he played 1015 just because the crowd can interact with him more and vise vesa. Steve was too far from the crowd having the DJ Booth up in the stage at Ruby. Steve is one of those rare DJs that likes to party with the crowd. Overall, his performance was what I expected but a bit short on the energy. Taj opening set was :eyespop: :eyespop:
It was my first time back at Ruby for almost a year. :( It upstairs (smoking) room was closed. It's sucked because there was no place to sit. I'm old ....... I have to take breaks often :gsmile: |

Yes Steve loves the 1015 setup and he misses it. Sorry peeps had to leave early. |

yeah, i will get to the pics in a few days. my main computer's main drive crashed and is out for data recovery so i'm waiting for that before reinstalling all my photo editing apps.
i was teasing steve that for once he was wearing a shirt that we couldn't see getting all sweaty. you can turn down his energy 50% and he'd still look like he's having more fun up there than most djs. but you're totally right that he belongs down at the crowd level. a few of us stuck around for quite a while after the show, and i think we could have talked him into the end up, but wasn't sure what was going on there that night. |
