Awesome degree, also you should go to Guam for 09 and 2010 just my two cents. Past that do you have any video footage of some storms this year?

looks like i probably won't be going on that volunteer deployment. since its outside of my cycle and manning will suck during that time frame. oh well.

nothing too exciting so far this year...just a lot of really windy stuff. and of course at night which you can't see anything, just hear the wind and my narrating when the tornado sirens went off :/

No he couldn't. Smart != knowing things and vice versa.

Just finished a BA (Hons) in English Studies with Creative Writing. Studies = 50/50 split of Literature and Linguistics, meaning I get equal parts rote learning of fact and subjective interpretation of art and opinion.

Strengths and weaknesses aren't what I was talking about. I was talking about the intrinsic difficulty of a specific program compared to others. Like comparing a physics degree to a degree in women's studies. I'm sure kids who failed out of the physics program are still more intelligent than A students in women's studies.

I studied maths, physics and chemistry to get into university (so I know the calculus and freshman chemistry/physics) and I'd definitely say they are harder than "soft" social sciences subjects. That said, I know people who can crunch numbers with natural ease but would have a breakdown if they had taken my degree. I'm in awe of their mathematical skills but I'm aware they'd really struggle with what I find easy. It all comes down to personal strengths.

You can't assume everyone is like you and what you find difficult correlates with the rest of the world. A philosophy degree is right next to Media Studies or some e like that on the scale of blaggable degrees.

Sorry man, but that's how I see it. I found the literature parts of my degree overly-blaggable: I've bullted my way through seminars without having bothered reading the primary text before. I can't see philosophy being much different.
