Urban Torque celebrates its one-hundredth release this summer and Misfitz’s ‘Want Me’ will certainly be blasted out proudly at the party. Whether it’s the original, resounding with feel-good buzz, or the decadently funky ‘80s inspired Diogenes Club remix, it’s sure to fill the floor pronto. Proper poppy party music at its delightful best! Stephen Lopkin and Laserdisco provide versions for different moods, expertly delivering the epic and the techy respectively.

Misfitz is a collaboration between Hipp-e and C-pen (Chris Penny). Since making his first paycheck at the age of 16 as a DJ, Hipp-E has developed into a true innovator on the electronic music scene. His partnership with Halo as H-Foundation catapulted him into the limelight and produced the acclaimed ‘Environments’ album. Now working as a solo artist once again, Hipp-e travels the globe spreading his sound from the US to Asia and beyond while continuing to push musical boundaries with his ability to blend jackin beats into techno horns and even soulful moments – a true legend.

Aye, we've been a bit aggressive this year :stongue:. And we still have plenty more EPs coming: Neil Quigley, Tom Middleton, Tone Float, Stephen Lopkin, Pezzner (personal fav of mine), and of course the 100th release!
But we're usually quiet over the summer though - if that's any relief :)

Still two tracks to produce until his next EP. One of his new tunes has been played and charted by Jody Wisternoff fairly recently, called 'Do You Know How To Feel It' - although it's not a housy one! |

LOL, I find myself continuously buying your releases...not out of blind fanboyism but because you guys have really been like a factory of top-notch quality tunes for a long time. I really don't know how you guys have managed to have such a big quantity of releases without affecting the quality. |
