Um...:conf: owls owls owls
P.S. is Twin Peaks (the TV series) really worth watching? I've seen the full-length movie I think (David Lynch?) but I didn't quite get it |

One thing I've noticed about Twin Peaks is that people either love it, or hate it.
I know a lot of people from both sides, but I've never heard someone say 'it's ok, but...' or anything like that. There is no in between.

TV shows don't get any more awesome than this. Watch 3 or 4 episodes and you'll see how far it stands over any other mystery series. Including X-Files and Lost. |

from what i understand the movie is a prequel and epilogue to the tv series...so that my be why you didn't get it.
i got into it because i ran across a wikipedia article that talked about Moby using Laura Palmers Theme in his track 'Go'. I watched the pilot on google video and have been hooked since. Really haunting out of this world stuff juxtaposed with normal every day life...murder mystery done really well...definitely up there with Lost and Xfiles like someone said. |

I would agree if the show had maintained that breathtaking level throughout its entire duration. The truth is that it goes drastically downhill after about 15, 16 episodes (we all know why), and doesn't pick up until the very last episode. |

I prefer to ignore that, but you're basically right. Around that time things went wrong (like Cooper's love interest with a new character instead of Audrey, resolving the murder, etc.) for a number of reasons. In that way, Twin Peaks is a sad reminder how creativity and commerce are incompatible. |

I was aware of that but too lazy to re-upload. Will do so later on. |

| ok, so I just watched the 1-st episode of Twin Peaks. it appears that it is exactly what I saw a long time ago, probably confusing it with the full-length movie. its weird in a good way, its definitely Lynch-style (comparing to Mulholland Drive) but the acting is a little funny. planning to watch some more:toocool: |
