Virus TI & Mac Pro

Hey guys,
I have a Virus TI Keyboard that works very well with my current PC set-up but I am looking to move to Logic on a new Apple Mac Pro. These are the new 8-core moels that have just recently arrived last month in March. As I know these are 64-bit machines, I was wondering what compatability might be like with my TI. Does anyone here have an 8-core Mac Pro and a TI working together successfully? I don't want to buy an expensive machine that will render my Virus TI useless... |

What city are you in?
I have a MacPro and I wanna buy a Virus TI. If you're in LA/OC you can try your Virus on my MacPro. That way I can see how it works first hand and make up my mind on that expensive investment. Hehehe

Logic isn't a 64 bit app. Neither is Cubase for Mac. In fact i'm not even sure if Mac OSX is actually considered a true 64 bit OS. It has work arounds for logic via ESX24 and some tunnelling apps but i think it shouldn't matter as long as the TI says it works with OSX. |

Snow Leopard(10.6) will come with a true 64bit Kernel. |

Ok awesome. Is this the new Mac Pro with Nehalem processors? Or does it not matter? And one more thing, what sequencer are you running it on? Thanks so much |
