Virus TI & Mac Pro

Hey guys,

I have a Virus TI Keyboard that works very well with my current PC set-up but I am looking to move to Logic on a new Apple Mac Pro. These are the new 8-core moels that have just recently arrived last month in March. As I know these are 64-bit machines, I was wondering what compatability might be like with my TI. Does anyone here have an 8-core Mac Pro and a TI working together successfully? I don't want to buy an expensive machine that will render my Virus TI useless...

What city are you in?

I have a MacPro and I wanna buy a Virus TI. If you're in LA/OC you can try your Virus on my MacPro. That way I can see how it works first hand and make up my mind on that expensive investment. Hehehe

Logic isn't a 64 bit app. Neither is Cubase for Mac. In fact i'm not even sure if Mac OSX is actually considered a true 64 bit OS. It has work arounds for logic via ESX24 and some tunnelling apps but i think it shouldn't matter as long as the TI says it works with OSX.

Snow Leopard(10.6) will come with a true 64bit Kernel.

Ok awesome. Is this the new Mac Pro with Nehalem processors? Or does it not matter? And one more thing, what sequencer are you running it on? Thanks so much
