So the recurring discussion about a 2nd hockey team in the GTA went up a notch again last week.
man these guys remind me of Rogers, Telus, and Bell..

will never happen stupid topic. MLSE has the final say whether or not a team can emerge here. The won't allow another team to compete with them... its such a stupid ign rumor...

It won't happen because MLSE doesn't want it to happen.....it won't happen because the NHL is not looking to expand and Bettman will not allow one of his bankrupt US teams move to Canada.
Besides, the final say isn't up to MLSE....its up to the NHL owners and Bettman...if they want to put another team in Toronto then it will happen...regardless of what MLSE wants. |
