I seriously doubt it. Most people, including I, dressed casually for Infected Mushroom.
I plan on wearing casual clothes, but if one place were to be a prick about the dress code, it probably would be this place. The bouncer is real ing (if it's the dude with the pony-tail).
BTW Ryan, judging by your myspace page, I am pretty sure we met at Ferry Corsten in Houston. My name is Ricky, and I was hanging out with Jenn from Austin. |

Yea. I think I remember you. I can't wait for the concert. Even if the club isn't all that great, it's Above & Beyond. Plus I'm going with my favorite people so that makes it that much better. I guess I'll see you Thursday. |

best way to describe it:

Above & Beyond were great as usual, but Pangaea might be the worst venue ever. In the beginning, there were waayyy to many people. 20 minutes into the concert, something went kaput with the sound. At that time a good portion of the audience left. Ultimately, this might have actually been a good thing. However, they never really got the speakers back up properly. The volume/bass dropped pretty dramatically (maybe 1/2 of the initial power). They attempted to use the nitrous drop to sort of cover up the problem, but that ran out pretty quick.
Later, around 1:30 or so, they ran out of water. I'm not sure how you do that, but it happened. A&B played 'til 2:30 or so with last half hour being almost exclusively Oceanlab productions.
Whatever, I still had a good time. |
