We are so there.....
Can't believe we only went to Cream fields last year, what a waste.

Got a VIP pass too.
Yeah baby.
Murraydare
was it that bad at cream?
admiralty
Yes, only Saturday evening was cool.

2 and a half hours to get through the security.
The local police seemed to think all dancers are dealers or were coming tooled-up for violence.
It was a very unfriendly event.

The security was worse than Eastern Europe at the height of the cold war, the organization was crap and we were all treated like idiots/cattle by the staff.
I think the local plod had put extreme conditions on the site because it finished when the night was only just beginning.

Saying that, Tiesto was immense, so was Fat Boy, Pendulum, Chic and Ferry too.
Murraydare
lol thats never what you want! Is that the main reason your going Global this year then?

Saw Paul Van Dyk not long ago at Gods and he was immense! He plays live so it was wicked to watch him mix in to his tunes then play them into his own music! he really is gifted! Never seen FatBoySlim but Ferry's always good.

Actually, I've wanted to go to Global for years.

What this country needs is a Queen's Day - type event like in Amsterdam, that'd be mental fun.
Murraydare
Do you mean like National Australia Day? or do you mean like a day themed event?
admiralty
Queen's Day is The Dutch big day out, massive parties and dance events.
Google is your friend ;)
Murraydare
indeed google is!

I might even make a show! Well, I wont but it would be nice if I did!

2002 was quite clearly the best. We were young (I was 17!) and totaly immune to worries and cares. Trance was still trancey. The weather was glorious. People were still new to each other.

Happy days.
