Severe thunderstorm warning for City of Toronto

Persons in or near this area should be on the lookout for adverse weather conditions and take necessary safety precautions. Watch for updated statements.

Its crazy how in the past 1hr it went from super sunny, beautiful day...

and now I look outside - theres paper cups and newspapers flying around the air, and dark ass clouds like an apocolypse is coming :nervous:

At 4:50 PM EDT radar shows a line of severe thunderstorms approaching western end of Lake Ontario. Thunderstorms are expected to reach Toronto by 5;30 PM. Wind gusts to 100 km/h large hail and heavy downpours are expected. Damages have been reported between Lake Huron and Kitchener.

This is a warning that severe thunderstorms are imminent or occurring in these regions. Remember some severe thunderstorms produce tornadoes..Listen for updated warnings. Emergency management Ontario recommends taking cover immediately when threatening weather approaches.

A line of thunderstorms is moving over southern Ontario from northwest to southeast. Severe thunderstorms are associated with this line.

Mmmmm... I love summer. Although thunderstorms do tend to hinder moving plans. whatever, i needed a break anyways.

We were workin on my buddy's car from 1pm til the storm hit here in Cambridge. Rather eerie seeing an enormous wall of cloud cover just move in almost immediately.

In the ensuing ridiculous wind gusts, I got to watch his neighbour's fence blow right down. I laughed.

this is classic toronto weather in action, this morning i was convinced there was no way the day could get bad, and what do u know storm warning!
