Yeah modulating that decay phase is a classic deadmau5 trick for turning a pluck into a pad gradually... If you do it on the filter envelope it leads to good things. Same with the attack actually, but thats more of a bpitch control techy sound...

Open up the attack and decay on the filter envelope!

Hey! Try automating your Resonance setting.. so when your cutoff is in the bass frequencies your resonance should be very low. As the filter opens setup your resonance to increase. This should achieve what you want without boosting the bass:) A bit of compression to keep volume levels in check as well.
Hope this helps

Apparently. It shows you the scope of the people in this forum. I bet many believe Binary Finary invented the Arpeggio...or know that arp stands for Arpeggio for that matter.

what would an arpeggio of the chord which contains an augmented 6 interval , resolves in stepwise motion to a cadential 6/4 in the key of F major be?

Since you seem to know so much.I'l give you a few months to mull that one over. Or maybe you should just apologize.

Most people know this sound from deadmau5. Hence why I used him as an example. And honestly, I can't think of anyone who uses those tricks as well as he does.
If you want to educate me by showing some tracks with reverb or ADSR automation which use the technique as well as Faxing Berlin, then go for it.
