Some Local DJs @ Las Trompetas (Bird and 114th) : 4/30/09

to anyone that has nothing to do this upcoming Thursday (4/30), my friends rented out a small lounge/club called Las Trompetas located like on bird and 117th. the place is charging $5 cover, and a couple friends of mine are going to be djing. they spin mostly house.
so to all in the Kendall area that have nothing to do and are in the area, can swing by for a couple cheap drinks and listen to some good tunes.
I have no idea how the venue is, never even heard of it (and to be honest, it's in a strip mall on Bird Road), but for being right by some of our houses and being so cheap, along with the good music, should hopefully be a pretty good time.

Not at all & i appreciate you in be considerate. Suggestion... Change the title to an event title instead.
The shopping center is Westbird shopping center. Its right next to Chicken Kitchen. Its a small spanish venue I believe. I can literally walk home from there.
From what time to what time? I can try to stop by w/ Digitalpheonix & a friend of mine to show some support.

according to the facebook event my friend gave me, it's 10:00pm-5:00am, I'm asking to see if they're actually going to be djing from those times or if the owner is only giving them an allotted time within that.

I take it you've been there? how is the place? the pictures that my friend got (I'm guessing from the internet somewhere) look pretty nice, but we all know photoshop can do wonders. |

No not really. I jst know when I go to chicken kitchen to grab a bite to eat. LOL! I have no idea what it looks like inside.

just got word that i'm going to be spinning there, too. my first official gig outside of living rooms/backyards :nervous:
pretty nervous, but pretty excited too (even if it ends up being a hole of a club). |
