The recently created alter ego of established tech house beat maker Dave Robertson, Reset Robot has burst on to the scene with an impact rarely seen. With two EP’s already scheduled on premier tastemaker label Sci+Tec and the great and good of the scene clamoring for more of his output it is with tremendous excitement that 8 Sided Dice unveil this EP of wigged out tech house
The subject of a long running label-on-label tug-of-war for the rights to release it, Continue is a genuinely hot record that is currently a favourite track for Dubfire and Nic Fanciulli. Punchy and up-tempo with enough wiggle to ensure movement on any dancefloor this one is all about a killer groove and the tension inducing use of the sonic equivalent of a old time locomotive horn blaring
M-Siren provides the ying to the a-side’s yang; taking things deeper and more hypnotic with dark tribal rhythms layered between collections of freaky space-age effects and one signature drawn out siren noise. A real a mood builder rather than a track to deliver the knock out punch this is one for long, late night sets where the name of the game is all about slowly building the tension.
