kelly^^ I grew up 20 feet from the water. I loooove it, the beaches, the wineries, the boating/jetskiing, the fireworks, etc.....but the winters are BORING, so I high-tailed it out of there the second I graduated!! haha! :)

This will be my third Canada Day / Guv trip and I never have been to any part of the holiday except for the Guv.... I want to do Cherry Beach and maybe the cruise too. My question is... isn't Cherry Beach just a public park? If so... how the heck would Hawtin be playing there? Is there some public DJ setup or something? Do people just bring their equipment out there and bang out? Someone explain this to me please.
All I know is that I don't want to end up roaming around the Asian clothing stores like I did last year post-Guvernment.
If anyone has suggestions on a good place to crash (other than my car or an over-priced hotel) please let me know.
