Should I see Ferry at Vanguard or ETD Pop?

I live in southern California so seeing Ferry at Vanguard is not a problem. Tickets are currently $40 right now I believe for the mid-May show. However, I plan on being in the Bay Area (SF) for Memorial Day weekend REGARDLESS, so I also have the option of seeing him at the Cow Palace at ETD Pop (tix are $70+). I do not plan on going to both shows. I would not mind seeing PvD at Pop, but my main objective is to see Ferry. :toothless Any recommendations on which show I should go to? I'm assuming Vanguard will be a better show just because he will have a much longer set time and it'll be more "intimate," (and the headlining DJ), but massives are quite an experience also.

it would not surprise me to see the Ferry tickets hit $50 and sell out. for those planning on going i'd recommend highly buying presale tickets -----> Ferry Corsten at Giant/Vanguard presales link click here

didn't Giant used to have some discounts or an e-list? Or is that old news? Might be making it to this one since I am in OC that weekend

they do for 99% of their events at Vanguard and I can get you on the list when they do. But for Armin as it sold out ahead of time, there was no discount list. I suspect the same will happen for Ferry...though I will not know for sure until the week of. I would recommend buying presale tickets to be safe if you are 100% sure about going.

I would buy presale and if there is a discount list in the end, go ahead and pick your presale up, sell it outside the club at cost (sure someone would buy it from you to save the hassle of being in line to buy a ticket) and then go in via the discount list.

Not sure if I can stop by Ferry. Don't know if I can deal with sardines lol. Need to get my networking going so I don't have to deal with that crap lol. I have horrible anxiety...but somehow am good with the networking at clubs lol.

The one time I went to Vanguard for Pvd, I bought vip tickets - it was either $75 or $100 and included open bar for a few hours and access to the upstair lounge. That saved the night for my wife - not sure if she would have survived otherwise. Does Vanguard still do this? Is the upstairs still vip? I'd do it in a hearbeat if anyone has any connections...I don't even like sardines.

that's usually only done on weeknite special events like Tiesto....to my knowledge there will not be a vip/open bar ticket sold for Ferry.

see him in SD! or at the OC show...those tickets started at $10 and $15 respectively.

early bird gets the worm! :)

i think the LA show started at $25?

for the big shows i think people are best served buying tickets as soon as they know they are going to lock in the cheapest prices...
