i wasnt living in ny by that time so i never got the chance to go but even in my native country i heard stories about this amazing club in nyc called Twilo! |

| wasnt this place supposed to re open with some other name or something i do know that this club had the best sound of any club in the east its just too bad its closed now that im 18 i would have loved to have went :( |

| I onyl ever went to twilo like 3 times, and this was a year or so before I even got into clubbing. I was a total newbie back then, and truthfully, didn't have the best times when I went there, mostly because I just wasn't into clubbing that much. But looking back, it was a really cool place, and dwarfs everything this city has to offer today. |

| Twilo hands down was best club in NY the vibe was unreal and the music well that speeks for it self(untouchable) PVD nights at twilo were the most memorable nights i ever expierenced at a club it was insane..sucks to be u if u didnt go and had the chance cause there is now club out there now like that god i miss that place i put in a solid 3 years every friady and a few sats it was siiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiccccccckkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk!!!!! |

I never had an opportunity to go to Twilo, and whenever anyone brings that place up I feel so bad because I can tell it meant a lot to many people. NYC is an awesome city, but it can be a lonely isolating overwhelming city too. It seems that Twilo was a place you could let your guard down and "be a kid" and explore and meet people and just be happy.
Being from DC, I went to Buzz @ Nation religously. When Buzz shut down it was a huge heartache for us too. Cubik (the new party) is steadily picking up and I wish the promoters there well. Spirit (the new club in Twilo's space) is beautiful although I'd like an honest comparison/opinion of the sound there to Twilo's. I hope the new generation of promoters will bring the vibe back into the city and bring a new scene that we will all relish. Someday I hope we will look back and say was the bomb and even better than Twilo ;) |
