Why 1234
We've been getting a lot of questions as to our choice of club for this event, "why club 1234", "weird venue choice"," why not SAT" etc, and I thought I would take a minute to explain.
We normally do our events at concert halls, SAT especially + Just For Laughs, Metropolis, Club Soda etc. All these venues, as great but they aren't really DJ ready - we have to rent a lot of extra equipment, dj booths, turn tables, cd players, extra sound. All these factors, + rental fees drive up the cost of each event, and in this case - we wanted to keep a low ticket price so true KOMPAKT fans can come to see Michael Mayer + Superpitcher at a reduced cost.
Club 1234 has a fantastic sound system, a nice room with great acoustics + a built in DJ booth + all the gear we need - so there is nothing to rent. The club itself is only open friday + saturday - so we won't get their normal crowd, and they promised us courteous & friendly security & most importantly reasonably priced drinks + beer for our night.
Just as we are capable of transforming every space into a NEON space - we will do the same at 1234 - rest assured.
Tickets are 15$ TAX included - they are available online iloveneon.ca + in shops next week.
