Yeah i know. He did good this year though. Him vs Iyo's Dhalsim was an excellent match. It went down to the wire almost every round.

By the way... anyone here play SFIV on PS3? If so lets play :D

Amazing ... simply amazing. Out of all the footage I've seen of Daigo, that was the only time he smiled. Even when he wins all the major tours world wide, dude walks off with no reactions at all.

This was when Daigo was losing intrest in 3rdS, you can tell on how annoyed & feed up a player is when he stands there during a battle from being turtled. I do them samething.

You tend to lose your focus when your a head of everyone by many light years and your sick of the playing the same game for more then 5 years.

Justin Wong really doesn't learn his lesson after all these yrs, he got brutally mashed up in SF4 and the story is diff now. Daigo is totally focused & out to kill.

Here's a bunch a videos made in 2000-20001 of some Tournament I held back then.

My friends and I placed top 5 & 3 in both tours. Keep in mind these are made almost 10 yrs ago. At this time, the japs were way a head of everyone like always.

THE REAL BLAST FROM THE PAST

TZW

I remember getting this combo video (VHS) from my friend in japan, made me want to quit SF. Soon after I got faxes from my friend with recent combos from TZW which made no sense to do ...

I remember stacking quarters and waiting for hours for my chance to fight the older kids in the area.

Unless they were a punk in real life; beating any guy commanded respect.

that Guile video was ridiculous.

Same here, I battled at Studio 81 @ Yonge & Cummer when I was a child. Lost alot of money, but it was the place to learn SF2.

There was a fat taiwanese kid name Dave there, he was light years a head of everyone and had "jap" timing for all of his technical attacks. With Guile, he did invisable throws, freezing + double & triple freezing the game ... unfreezing, this guy was "thee" champ. Very humble guy and was willing to teach and train everyone. Right before SF2CE came out, he did this combo during gameplay towards me and still makes me wonder how he did it ...

Guile>
Jump HP, Stand LP, Stand HP & Blade Kick ... we all know what happend when your timing is wrong with "Stand HP & Blade Kick", the game shuts down and you would have to repay all the credits in the machine to everyone.

Playing the old SF online with ppl now, it reminded me how unblanaced the game was back then and you truely relive how "cheap" things really made you angry ... it's BS and close to impossible to get out.
