Analog. Definitely Analog.
Trilogy will do the trick , although Vanguard and other virtual analog should work as well.
Get a sawtooth ,
Eq it ,
then sidechain a reverb to it. |

Hardware! He also has an engineer I believe.
Sounds like a Virus, Z3ta has a patch called Virus, that can do something similar, but doubt it can sound as big. |

| That bass sound from Satisfaction was originally created with a Nord Lead, it is a Saw wave with loads of portamento/glide on... with some extreme compression on. |
