| Over the past few years, Silk Digital Records has evolved from a humble progressive label - showcasing the work of just a few select Russian artists, such as Mango and Arthur Deep - to an international, multi-genre enterprise. Electronic music fans, DJ's, and producers from around the world have enjoyed the label's distinctive blend of emotional, sophisticated and, above all, uplifting sounds. Initially the vision of four good friends from Moscow, Silk now includes amongst its ranks a litany of accomplished international artists in the genres of progressive, breakbeat, and ambient, many of whom have reached the top of the charts. Our newest division, Silk Royal Records, will release tracks that definitively represent the more driving, "big room" brand of progressive house. A&R'ed by Philadelphia-based DJ and producer Jacob Henry, Silk Royal looks forward to highlighting artists who keep their ears close to the dancefloor, while still maintaining the label's standard of high production quality and emotional, mature sound. |
