Well, I know I got it taking my dog to the beach few afternoons this past week but nonetheless this is just the worse time to get sick with epidemic in the open.

that's the thing... it's not a big deal, they're just making it out to be one
i really think that they're doing it because they want to deter people even more from going into mexico (just like they were doing earlier this year by telling people not to travel to cancun for spring break... which was a complete joke, because i went to playa del carmen and cancun about a month ago and i didn't see any problems whatsoever) and a new way for the health care industry to capitalize / make a ton of money due to people being scared.
do a search for tamiflu on google news and you will see that a ton of countries ordered millions of doses of it.
look how share prices jumped up like 10 bucks from the beginning of the week:
Honestly....this could be just a big ploy to get people's minds off of our economy. Statistic's show that thus far more people have died from the regular flu than this "swine flu".

yes, children need to be careful. luckily its not the 'epidemic' that it is in Mexico. and also I think it was confirmed (from those who died) that many of those suspected cases were from causes other than the swine flu. just practice good hygiene and get to a doctor when u start experiencing flu-like symptoms.
