why do you make music

Do you make it in hopes that you'll make it big?
do you make it to impress women?
do you do it to fill your sets?
etc..
Just like to know everyones motivation here, see what makes you tick.
i personally do it for my own enjoyment. I'll post the odd song i make in the cor , and i'll send some to my gf, but generally speaking it's just something i do for my own ears. |

I like to hear specific stuff, and most of it is not made by anyone else. |

aspire to inspire. ever come across a beautiful track where it just pierces your soul & makes you feel like you're on cloud nine?(with or without drugs)
one day i hope my music will be able to reach out to other peoples souls and rip it the out & make sissy bitches cry. :stongue:
but most importantly i make music for myself. hoping one day i'll be able to weep & cry over my own music due to it's richness & beauty, not to mention being able to roll to my own ing tracks & actually enjoying it :stongue:
just in :haha:
the first sentence has truth in it though. i do it for my own soul but maybe one day, someone will be able to feel my tracks as i have with countless tracks(if i ever man up & release :toothless) |

- Because I'm an old dude with a family, boring career, and no life.
- Hanging out on EDM forums makes me feel 20 years younger. :toocool:
- I have no other use for my synths and recording equipment

i make music so i can say to myself "god that btg guy is a ing joke"
just kiddin brah, at first i made it im not sure why, there was some sort of allurement. I thought it fit the type of person i am for some reason. Right now i make music to try to make it sound as good as i can, and trying to become better... i have lightyears to go; its a nice hobby that can be measured by how good your mixing and sound design skills are. Plan on using some tracks on future promotional sets no doubt, just to whore my name on the tracklisting and try to calibrate my songs to gel with pro tracks. That being said, i'd say after many years, right now im having the most fun at it, good times. |

| i make music for the love it. to hear your track played in a club is a great feelings. ive had various releases and been on a few compilations but never received a penny for my tracks but its not about the money its about making people smile for me. |
