Wow, at Black and Blue!! Nice

I know! it's crazy! can't believe the direction bnb is taking!
Tech room with Misstress Barbara 2 years ago (major flop ok I agree)
Then Save Seaman, D-Formation and a new A.D. last year...
2009 with even more techier bookings...well..thumbs up!!

very surprising and risky from BBCM but then again...they can't throw another bal en blanc, musically!

Wow, I'm stoked for B&B now !!

Cream 2004 was one of my best massives ever, after S+D @ the Pepsi Forum in '07. I'm sure some here recall Cream at the Bell Centre. With Digweed (he jumped on at 1AM as we walked in...perfect timing!), Sander K, Desyn M, Deep Dish and Ferry Corsten.

Back on topic - my 3 dj's I'd want for BeB:

Adam Beyer
Chris Liebing (not as hard these days - his set at Respect, Jan 2009 would have been perfect..tribally tech...slowly building up..)
Sasha & Digweed (I know, that technically adds up to 4 dj's!)
habsfan
Manuel le Saux
Chris Leibing (circa 2005)
John O'Calaghan or Talla 2XLC
Trancission
Markus Schulz
Leon Bolier
Glenn Morisson
Blake Jarell
Jerome Isma A
yankeeBaby
techno: Paul Ritch, Lawler, magda

house: swedish house or dirty south

trance: ferry, john o'callahan, cosmic gate

and of course preach, but wtf genre is he now? LOL ;)

moi au contraire i really enjoyed dave seaman's set. and there wasn't that many top 40 songs in his set except sweet dreams which i totally agree should never be played again in the next 5 years or so!

I've gone to both every yr since '04 and always found B&B to have much better vibe overall than BeB. I just stay clear of the sea of bears (all friendly, mind you), and met some of the nicest people and best dancers at B&B over the years. Less fashion show and superficiality. It's almost like Stereo x30 in size. The fact that about half to one third of attendees are gay (although becoming more and more mixed crowd every yr), and a lot of people see it as a gay event, keeps most narrow-minded, nondesirable types out. I've also found the dj roster to be superior at B&B over BeB in the last several years. Now with Diggers, this brings them up another notch or two higher. Meanwhile, BeB continues to recycle dj trainwrecks, totally alienating anyone with a little knowledge of dj culture.

The B&B's seem to have better production, organization, sound, lights as well - at least compared to the last 2 yrs of BeB. The 2005 B&B was totally mind-blowing at the big O with several islands of lights and speakers scattered about on the dancefloor. It was also total tribal mayhem with Tenaglia and Chus and Ceballos. Speaking of which, they should bring C&C back to B&B - heck even for BeB - get rid of Awful Nissim!
