So I just installed the new 1.9 software, but don't worry I still kept the 1.8.3 for live gigs. Basically my question though is, even though I dont have the SSL 3 fancy new box, can I still use it's new midi controller features and what have you
I'm thinking about getting the Stanton DaScratch SCS.3d Unit for my kit. Anyone have one? |

You can use all new midi controller feature. I tried with my uc-33 for fun, doesnt worked fine, but it's due to the uc-33, which is not design for serato. Im thinking to get korg nanopad, but im not sure i really need it in techno/minimal mix.
I use 1.9 for gigs since beta2, works fine here for 7 hours gigs since a month.
there is 2 things that made me order sl3 :
- have a seperate output for sp-6.
- i can record my set within serato using 3rd input. |

yep, sold my sl1 400, bought the new one for ~ 600. i will get it in 3 weeks.
i did change for :
- record my set without needing another soft/sound card
- 3rd tt will be available
- use sl3 as soundcard on mac when they will release their driver. |
