| They automatically blur the faces of people and licence plates because of our privacy laws. The technology doesn't always work on every face though haha, so maybe someone will get in. |

Google Street View Toronto in now finally up and running!
We've been waiting for it for a long time. Since back in April, the Google Street View camera cars were seen in and around the GTA, and speculation that the new visual feature would be implemented "soon" remained alive and well. But it's been so long that most of us forgot about it. Until today!
To try it:
First go to Toronto on Google Maps, and then drag the little yellow man human icon onto the map.
Have fun exploring, and let us know if you find anything interesting by posting links and/or commenting below!
Update: looks like it's also live for Ottawa, Vancouver, Montreal, Calgary, and Halifax!
Oh, and be sure to try it in full screen (there's an expand icon at the top right of the street view screen). Looks great!

| i see my parents house.. amazing.. picture is so clear to. i remember checking out the street view in other US cities and the pics were kind of blurry |

The photo in front of my office (York & King St. West) was taken on June 5th, 2009 @ 8:31am.
I saw a news article on our reuters newsfeed outside with the info lol.
