they wanted 800$ to repair my CDJ800
why would they ask for 800$ to REPAIR a CDJ when you can get a brand new MK3 (mine is MK2) for the same price? lewl?
i ended up getting a second hand MK3 for 600$ and i got my xone repaired with warranty. yippy |

| because the cost of opening the unit, finding the problem parts, installing, testing, exceeds the cost of paying a factory in malaysia to put together a new unit from scratch? |

| Epson are the same. They quoted me a fee of £25 to just receive and then £30 an hour to look at my old printer, saying it would take 3 hours. cost = £105. I bought a new one (HP this time) for £65 |

Don't get me started on Epson :p
I have 3 wide format Epson printers, and when something goes wrong (like today!) the qualified fixing folks charge $100 just for the call out, and then $120 an hour while they attempt to make it work :mad:
Oh, and then there's the cost of the replacement parts.

| u guys dont understand, thats exactly what they want u to do, discard old and buy new. in corporate. the buttons on my MK'3 went bad i ordered them on ebay for $10 and replaced them myself. |
