The exercise that we go through where we ask each other how many sexual partners have you had in the past, or what went down and all that nonsense makes no sense. It almost turns into retroactive cheating for some people which is ing STUPID.
People get angry or upset when the sexual history of their is not that blank (dirty vs. clean is different numerous partners vs. few). It is not unheard for an average man or woman to have 30+ partners, and that is kinda on the low point. For some people, that's nothing.
The big problem, as shown in the clip above, is when girls and guys DWELL on the sexual past and start catching feelings. This makes no sense?!?! Why are you going to ask if you feel so bad that your partner had sex with other people before they even ing met you?
Cheating begins when the two of you have a physical relationship with each other. That's my take on it. The past is the past. As long as your partner is faithful to you while they're with you (and having sex, not just dating), then their past is the past and it shouldn't be examined so damn closely. Why ask if you're going to be all emo about your girl getting rammed ferociously by some other dude a long time ago. She is your girl now so those other guys don't matter anymore, they're all long gone.
I think a lot of the reason for guys getting so mad about women's sexual pasts has to do with tradition. Soon we should see this eroding.
Do we enjoy feeling sad about that there's no point in being sad about? Is that our problem as a species?
