So I'm going to Vegas June 29th-July 3rd...

Hello
I live in Toronto and will be going to Las Vegas from Monday June 29th - Friday July 3rd...I know its only during the week but I was wondering what would be going on...I like House/Trance/Tribal/Electro/Tech, basically it all (No DNB!) and been apart of the scene for about 3 years. Suggestions on where to go? What to see? Any special events lined up? That weekend is July 4th so I hope theres at least a good party on the Thursday before? (flying out mid afternoon friday)

(This visit will be a bit more touristy unless theres a DJ i cant resist, i.e. SVD, but I'll be coming back some week in August to really explore Vegas's nightlife/afterhours!!) |

I know DJ AM is doing fridays at the "Perfecto Palms"
But there really isnt much during the week, especially that week.
If you would have moved your trip a month earlier, it would be party central! |

Yeah, after Memorial Day through August tends to be the slow period for Vegas...as a whole, cause there are lots of big heatwaves with 100+ degree temps. Odd that in the middle of the summer is the slowest time of the year for the such a major tourist city.
Hopefully something will pop up for you. Maybe someone will pass through while traveling for a major July 4th party somewhere else.

more edm events during the weeknights in vegas, you have to check that week tho...try the las vegas weekly mag but i know there is wed godskitchen at body english and thurs at tabu that pull in big names.
shoot jordan stevens on here a msg, he will fill you in. farsheed is a local vegas dj that is pretty dope. |
