I've been somewhat MIA lately, taking a little bit of a break as I get ready for my summer tours.
Since I started doing my nights at Pacha back in 2007 we have seen an upward progression in terms of attendance & great times. Our last Pacha event on January 9th was a landmark, truly an amazing night and I want to personally thank all of you for your continued interest and support in making these nights an ongoing success :)
Furthermore, a lot of you here on TA have been supporting me for years and I truly appreciate it! My headlining nights at Pacha probably wouldn't exist if it wasn't for all of you :)
When I started dj'ing back in 1989 I was extremely young as well as passionate about the art of Dj'ing and the music. I remember taking the bus into Manhattan where I would visit all of the record stores each weekend, spending hours digging through crates of records. Hours would be spent on a daily basis dj'ing in my bedroom with the dream of one day playing an NYC venue where friends and fans could share my passion with me. The years ahead made for a lot of work and sacrifices but also made for a lot of fun throughout a consistent building process. Through my events overseas and my gigs here in NYC, my passion has brought me to places which have far exceeded my dreams and expectations.
I'm really excited for May 29th and judging by the list requests it is looking like it will be a great event. It will be a pleasure to play alongside Dani Lehman & Keryn who have been making a great name for themselves and who also know how to open a room with perfection.
May 2009 also marks the 7th year anniversary of my record label Acute Recordings. James Gill who is a very talented DJ & Producer has been helping me a lot with the label. Aaron, Alexis, Matty & Romi always do a great job and Adrian Ravelo has been making quite the name for his C9 syndicated radio show.
Anticipation is building up with this event only 9 days away. Looking forward to seeing all of you soon!

You missed usamas bday weekend!! We went to benassi last Friday. Usama will be in Pakistan by the time this rolls around...
