aw, jesus. i remember being carried screaming from sunday school when i was about 5. that was the last time they tried to indoctrinate me dammit!! though she keeps talking to me about a psychic she saw not too long ago:( it just...hurts my feelings, you know? like that first time as a child you realise your parents aren't perfect? like when i beat dad at chess when i was 7 or 8. hahahahahaha.

dad on the other hand lent me 'the god delusion'. good dad! :stongue:

Lulz.

The only time I've been to church is when my dad was too busy to look after me on his 'one weekend per month' thing, so I went with a friend. I got in trouble because I wasn't paying attention, and the lady made me stand outside. I went wandering around all over the church, and got in more trouble lol :(

My mum's a bit nuts, I think. She started all the 'spiritual stuff' when I was about 12. And she always claims it's making her better, and more emotionally stable etc... From my perspective, she's more messed up than she's ever been, and she's parting with a weekly crapload of cash to be decidedly not helped. I've recommended psychology and psychiatry (lol, what a good son I am :p), but nooooooooo. Those doctor types, those 'scientific' people just don't understand.

Hmmmmmm. Not sure how much I want to get into this :p

If my dog lives for 17 years I'll be overjoyed, but I don't think it will happen. But I'm sorry to hear about your loss. After that much time, a dog is a genuine part of your family.
