Listening...
I really like your bassline. Kind of a progressive electro sound...exactly the sort of thing I go for.
I think your kick loses a tiny bit of its punch because of frequency interference with the bassline. I'd recommend sidechaining it :D
The claps are great, but maybe a tad too loud at the outset.
I think the filter sweeps on the bassline - around 2:00 - sound awkward and out-of-place. It might just be that they're too fast, perhaps make them a little more subtle?
When you come out of the breakdown, I think it's a little abrupt. If I were you, I'd try to sweeten that buildup a little - make it longer, add some filtered white noise, maybe raise the cutoff frequency of the bassline. That kind of stuff.
That sort of FM-ish electro synth at ~3:25 is too soft. I'd make it a little louder and add some reverb or delay to it, just to make it more interesting. I also don't like how it just abruptly vanishes at 4:45. The other synth, the trancier one, sounds fantastic as is.
All in all, I think the whole thing could be a little longer - I really liked it and wanted to hear more! I will be watching for any tunes you post in the future, you sound pretty good for a beginner! :) |

Thanks a ton! I'll get working on those suggestions right away. |
