Propellerhead - Record (pg. 3)

i meant that ReCord should really be a Reason upgrade combining everything in Reason, both old Reason stuff and new Record stuff. Doesnt matter though as Im only have to pay 150. Bet it works flawless together too as all Propheads stuff do. Now i can finaly start recording Rebirth's TB303 too hahaha. Goodtimes soon.

One thing that bugs me is there is the obvious sound difference with reason which is slightly annoying from the start. The new mixing console looks great but it would be even better if the sounds wasn't so flat to start with. Sometimes I tweak away but dont get the right sound.

The same sample played in another DAW comes out much different

Palm I guess thats the sound quality prob you were refering to?

Looks great, Sounds promising! But i wouldn't go to the extent to call it a DAW since it's a rewire slave app.
Great to see awesome implementing reason4 4 well, hey they still have the rebirth module in there?

Good question, would be a joke if it didnt though.

Yeah I know guys it doesnt have midi out infact which suprised me! :(

The admin said that it works the same as reason, you record midi data in to play devices etc. Reason has never had midi out capabilties, well not to my knowledge.

I don't plan on buying it, but I have to say that, in contrast to Storyteller, I actually like the look of its mixer.

I do like it but I'm saying the marketing isn't right ;).

Yet the mixing desk shows thousands of knobs which get singers in a state of hypnosis before they can get anything done. It just doesn't line up. Why not introduce all those knobs in an effect and keep the channels simple with an on/off button.

You really can't deny that with that amount of knobs it is not built for an engineer. Unlike they are claiming in their new video.

So does that mean that Live, Reason, FL Studio, and Reaper aren't DAW's either?
Storyteller
yes. :happy2:

Doesn't matter - still looks good to me.

Well, they ARE marketing it as an SSL emu.

Notice also the bus compressor.

Hurray, another overpriced DAW-alike targeting the low end of the market and pretending that its lack of features is to make it "easier and more innovative". I'm sure all the singer songwriters will love it:rolleyes:

So, they should have called it ReDundant?

:haha: Or ReTarded. Or ReInventing the wheel.

I just don't know when people are going to realise that production is complicated. No tool is going to get you good results, especially ones which market themselves as "simple".

And Palm, get off the drugs, VSTs are outdated? What a clown:rolleyes:
