Hi all,
Just wondering if anyone's had any use or got any views on SOR's sample colleections?
Thanks! |

I have the Club Revolution cd. In my eyes it is a fantastically complete collection of sounds and very much comparable with Vengeance. To me though they sound cleaner and especially the loops are great to work with. I mainly cut and chop them though and it is great fun. |

I also have Club Revolution. For my style I find the Vengeance Essential Clubsounds samples fit better. The Thomas Penton Essential collections are also quite nice, a lot of nice samples in there.
For my current productions, Club Revolution isn't as instantly applicable, I cycled through a lot of sounds and not many matched up with the other sounds I had happening. I'll keep trying them out from time to time, looking for places they might fit. |

Personally i love the SoR CR pack i use it in almost every production. However, i find the bundled loops to be a bit on the "heavy" side, they seem to be more suited for productions like Joey V and the older Dave Schiemann style. Though I do suggest checking this pack out, it is still among the most versatile packs i have owned. |
