I wouldn't have called the crowd "sketchy". Sure there were some ed up people, but it was nothing, and normally is nothing compared to The Guv or The Zone. In fact, the people who make it sketchy are the people who come back from Guv or Zone with no sleep or shower.

The only reason why most of you out of towners find it "sketchy" is because you're from suburbs or cities where everyone wears the same clothes and look the same. You're scared because you don't fit into the cookie cutter crowd that you're used to.

To all those Cherry Beach newbs criticizing the crowd for being too sketchy, remember that this crowd has been there long before you, so don't criticize.

I loved the drum circle and the trumpet guy near the front right of the DJ booth. I usually don't like stuff like that, but these guys were really good, and had a circle of people around them going crazy.

That's courtesy of John Greco (trumpet) & Drummers in Exile ;)

I agree on all fronts......I didn't find the crowd overly sketchy...

I thought the crowd was decent...there was definitely a mix of people and yes, there were some bohemian types with kids/babies..I don't see anything wrong with that...it's an outside event that i liken to a festival athmosphere..not every EDM event has to be a la guvy and footwork..:)

interesting accusations.

Were we at the same party? LOL

Like literally, we sat on the hill and died laughing at all the sketch going on.

Like there may have been more non sketch people than sketch. but there was no shortage of sketch.
nifty narcotix
I sat on the hill too after it got dark, and saw plenty of sketchies too. Crowd seemed a lot better though on the actual beach and by the bonfire.

I tend to agree. It wasn't -dangerous- (at least for the spectators) but it was sketchy enough.

I almost died, I was walking through the bushes and a giant bug flew right down my throat, I choked it up but felt the bits and peices in my esophagus for minutes afterward. I could have died.

All in all a great day, great peeps and great tunes, Nittin killed it.

T'was cold but its Canada.

lol where did THAT come from? Yeah, I never EVER see people wearing stuff that isn't the typical norm, because I'm umm...not from Toronto

I'm pretty sure I can tell when someone is messed up by the way they are almost falling over people, wearing shorts and a t-shirt even though it's fackin freezing, while in bare feet in the cold sand dancing in the same spot for 3 hours like this one girl was. There were several people I saw like that, it had nothing to do with what they were wearing, that's not why they were sketchy, it had to do with what they were actually doing lol. We've all seen sketchy people at clubs obviously screwed up on something, it's not very hard to spot lol.
