The room order was:
DJ DB (yes drum and bass in the main room)
Grandmaster Flash (hip hop)
Mark Farina (house)
So many people were like ????? about this set order.
Til this very day, I have yet to see a room explode 4 hours non stop with 3 completely different genres of music. I'm talking mash pits with your hands in the air. It was absolutely f#%king nuts.
It was a total true moment of music lovers uniting. junglists? househeads? hip hop? it didn't even matter. The music was that good. |

An odd way to promote the event, IMO.
Think there should be some type of cross-promotion between the two flyers so those who aren't familiar with what 103 Harriett is realizes it's all the same building and people can access both.
Unless you can't. ANd they are two completely seperate parties.
BTW, no mention of Aly & Fila (or tickets for them) on Wantickets.
Just my two cents. I'm no expert. |

| Hey Taj, im flying out with friends from north carolina for this. Are James and A & F gonna be in different rooms all night ? I was kinda looking forward to the vibe changing as i was picturing them in one room. That kinda sucks cause i love A & F, but damn...i can't picture leaving a zabiela set to go to the next room to see them. :disbelief |

You're not that far off wrt Aly & Fila, actually. I hope both of them show up this time. I love these guys. Thanks for bringing them back, Taj. I'm sure they owe us another good show since one of them was a last-minute no-show last time.
I agree that JZ and A&F are an odd pairing, and I don't think it was meant as a negative. I'm sure everyone is at least intrigued to catch both DJs in the same night, as I am. |
