Possible problems with soundcards?

Hey everyone,i wanna ask a question that's been bothering me for a bit:
I have 2 soundcards in my pc,two soundblasters for the matter, an Audigy and a Live one.
I use them both primarily when i play with traktor,and most times i use only the audigy.
Can it be harmful to my system and in what ways?Should i think of getting rid of the older Live one?
Note that i use that one only for my phones,to help in the mixing.
Please help out!

| no, you have to remember that the only thing your computer deals in is electrical impulses of 1 and 0. It doesnt differentiate between sound signals. Only differentiates between source like "this is coming from device 133fd4" so no, its fine |
