Yes...hails from Philly, born and raised the first coupla' decades plus in Dallas. :D
The dude is uber talented. You don't know what to expect from one release to the next. Let me expatiate...

No way, I implore anyone to doubly blindly detect the inferiority of those VBR files compared to a bloated 320kbps MP3. :D It's called a more judicious use of resources. ;) Of course, 320kbps CBR gives you a little more "peace of mind" but I've personally always found it overkill: Hyrogenaudio LAME settings
This is all besides the point anyway, since by ponying up the $10, you can have master quality FLACs. |
