haha... so true. I understand. As for non-humans, the most expensive thing I have in my house is the $20,000 ring on my wife's finger. |
Can you please post a few more pictures of your wife? I'm building up a 3D image of her on my computer and I'm 99% of the way there. Just need a picture looking directly from the ground up; that's the only angle I don't have so far. |

| In this room is me, no idea how much my education cost, but even one eight week course of mine cost about £30,000 (~$50,000). :p |

Highway robbery!
EDIT: My bedroom doesn't have much in it beyond furniture and a TV. I guess my wife's wedding and engagement rings and maybe the antique coinage are worth some $ though. |

for me its probably my studio, some of the key pricey items include my Marshall Stack (1959 HW all tube head, with slant 4x10 celestion cab) (3500 CAD), My Gibson Les Paul (US Made) (2500 CAD), My Tech 12's (not sure what they are worth anymore but they are in mint condition with two sets of headshells, Shure M447's on tech shels and Shure white labels), My recording Rig (all 19" rack mount equipment) (Furman Power Conditioner, Fostex Patch Bay, ART 2 chn full band EQ, ART multi Effects Processor, Lexicon digital effects processor, Digitech 4 channel gate/compressor, Alesis electronic drum brain, Fostex digital 8 track recorder with TOSLINK connection to a Fostex DM5 DAT recorder), Mackie 24 Chanel Mixer. On top of all that i also have a pile of vinyl, assortment of mics, cables etc, and a few more less pricey guitars (epiphone dreadnaught accoustic, ovation celebration series accoustic, art and luthrie acoustic 12 string, Ibanez SZR 720 electric), Line 6 spider III 150w combo modeling amplifier, crate 500w power amp for my custom built 12" stereo subwoofers and a pair of mackie active monitors. oh and a sitar.....
i have that room insured for 50 grand canadian, This room has become a large money pit for me..... but it keeps me happy. |
