i know this is far from perfect, but this is the first track i've done which uses 100% analogue equipment:

and it was extremely fun. download via the arrow on the right hand side. equipment list:

- mfb 503
- mfb kraftzwerg
- some moogerfoogers
- yamaha mg166cx for mixing

it's not even sequenced, everything (except for the drum pattern) is live :p have fun and maybe someone feels inspired not to use always the latest cubase and 380 synth plugins and gimmicky controllers to make music (i hope that makes sense)

I don't know if I would call this dubstep really. It's a cool-sounding track, though.

I just got my first analog synth, a Moog Little Phatty. :D

yay nice, i just checked one out a few days ago in zurich :) really nice machine until the salesman came and told us to be a bit quieter.. they sell grand pianos for several hundred thousand bucks there so maybe we were a bit out of place sending sub-bass riffs through the building :)

and i dont know which genre this might be too so i added a defanging "experimental" :) btw is there an analogue alliance on here?

I don't think so. One of us could start it, I suppose. ;)

I like the dark sounds you used in this. Got a feeling of industrial to it. Really nice roaring sounds. Try to replace the snare with a deeper one, maybe add a nice downtempo drumloop, this could become a super heavy dark groover.

that, sir, is as a matter of principle not possible anymore :p but i will keep your recommendations in mind for the making of the next track :)
