I'm sure everyone has heard Gouryella before, it's one of my personal favorites. I have one question about it though, there is a sound in Gouryella that I think is just awesome.

It's the sound at about 48 seconds when the dude is blowing on the pipe.
What on earth is that sound? |

Sounds like some kind of sawtooth , without verb.
Or it could be just some sort of viola /strings ,
maybe physical modelling for this one. |

| It's a synth with a guitar amp and a whole lot of overdrive. Grab something like Amplitube 2 and you could replicate it. |

| a clearer example is at 2:32, and it sounds more like a string sample with some distortion on it. |
