This is the second mix from me... Although its not perfect I do feel that this is technically miles better than my last one. I went for a darker, less organic feel than last time, but it may sound too plink-plonk for some of you. Feedback and comments welcome, enjoy. |

| My connection's practically dead at the moment, so I can't seem to really download anything. But I'll grab this when I can, it looks good. |

In!
I read somewhere else that you got Traktor. Did you make this mix with it? |

Yes, I did this in Traktor and two borrowed Technics.
edit: I'll also add that I haven't really taken full advantage of Traktor features since I'm still getting the hang of it, but I plan on experimenting with all the looping and other functions in my next mix. |

The mixing was a lot tighter this time around. I could barely hear the mixing, which is a good thing!
This kind of music isn't really my cup of tea (you know I like my stuff Deep and groovy), but it was still enjoyable for me. The mood stayed consistent throughout, and it did seem to get more groovy towards the end. The mix was definately dark, and I could see this mix playing out in some grungy basements in the creepy parts of the city :D |

Word, thanks for the review. Glad to hear the mixing really was an improvement, I've done a lot of working since my last mix. I figured you wouldn't exactly enjoy the vibe, but I'm glad to hear you could dig it. :p |

Had it on the drip to and from work today, was a marked improvement over your last, really. Flow was executed nicely and your mixing has tightened up for sure. A lot of this stuff wasn't really my cup of tea but if you're planning on using this as a promo tool for the local area I think it'd go over very well.
Keep on truckin' homeslice. |

Yeah, Atlanta really does seem to be in love with the wonkno sound.
Echoing almost everyone's sentiments here. The music is not really my style at all anymore (though I admit those basslines are fun to bob to) but the mixing was improved (just one transition that was sorta bad), and the flow was on point for the most part.
Atlanta promoters will definitely eat it up. |
