hi!
how is it going?

After a little break I finally got productive again, made a little remix of the Rave classic "Million Miles From Home" by Dune. I just love that track so I kept the pretty fast tempo, but made it a bit trippier. :)

here is the link:

+1 haha

The genre Goa/Rave made me very curious, especially as I'm used to top quality stuff from you!
The groove is definitly there, and it's a GOOD one.

Thanks for sharing man, you widened my horizon :p

omg the acid synth is awesome its like distorted dancing sonic flames lolwat

but seriously im listening right now, and im going to give the original a listen after

i have to say your strong points are definitely your layering and effects

at the end, when you hear the bass and kick alone, they do not sound like that in the mix I find, they kinda lose some of their sharpness
gr8ape
lmao at how cheesy the original sounds

3 minute 160bpm trance ftw

i can now say very good remix

thanks for the feedback guys!

palm, each to their own opinion, but I couldnt disagree more with you about rave and psy not mixing at all. Just take the acidlines or some melody progressions from rave and compare them to some early trance, I think there are a lot of similarities. (Happy) Hardcore has evolved into a very trance/psy influenced subgenre called Freeform. Alek Szahala is one of the poioneers of this, and I think he does a great job with that.

Cool Song, Nice Ideas mastering wise i like it too, what do you use any DSP tools , your from germany so im guessing you have a creamware product lol

Sheer brilliance!

Love the acid effects, mono bassline with psy kick combo. The percussion is very minimal but works a treat here. Mastering is great and the overall idea is so different yet original.

Good work!
