All I can say is reality kicks in when your in an oil refinery watching a 150ft, 700 degree vessel sway from side to side! We all had to inspect all the pipes and flanges checking for leaks... all it takes is one open line and wa-la.... instant hell zone!
But in the end, we are doing just fine over here. I just hope my big screen survived at home...:nervous: |

If you were moving then you wouldnt feel it. I was sitting on the edge of my bed eating when I felt a small abnormal sway, nothing major, but I did look up. Didnt see my lamp move, nor my LCD, so I thought nothing of it. 5 mins later my friend texts me If I had felt it. I was like ... |

5 aftershocks in the first fours after after the earthquake.
2.5, 3.1, 1.6, 1.8, 1.9
Now four more in just the last hour, plus one a bit east over in Chino Hills (might be unreleated)....
And you aren't see a total desipitation, but it jumping back up int he mid 2s....
Earthquakes scare me...only thing I fear more is Yellow Stone blowing up ... as some believe it's about 40,00 years overdue to erupt again...will wipe out most of north america...maybe. :) Like the "Big One" ... not a matter of "if," but "when." ;) |

I remember when i up up there a few years ago. I was reading about how it is over due, but it can be literally a few hundred thousand years before it actually goes.
It would be such a shame too, that place is so ing beautiful!
I remember the lake was such an amazing blue color that i haven't seen again... |

| I was at compression @ stardard rooftop pool and felt it shake andsway from side to side - freaked us out a bit. Anyone that was wasted didn't notice but all the sober people looked freak out too :toothless |
