Just as i thought the annoying things out of my control that stop me leading a normal life were out the way, along comes this big pile of sheep shagger ness.
My dad got sacked a few weeks back, naturally he didnt tell me. wanna know the "official" reason?
over use of the ing internet
but this is the real reason, here this bucket of harold shipmans dead granny parts...
the managing director hates my dad right, god knows why, probably because my dad HAD a pretty decent job considering he left education after shcool, well did a degree on day release, but you get my drift. anyway they were going to makre some of the managment staff redundant, but if they had to lay off my dad, they would have to pay him 2 years wages (70k) + 25 years service (30k) so thats 100 grand, so the little sneaky ****** has tried to work out a way of sacking him, knowing fine well my dad could never reclaim that sorta moneyfor unfair dismissal. theres all sortsa wierd in the "evidence" websites that are all in czech, and log in times equalling that of when he goes to town on a friday, really stupid. so basically my dad's lost his job and my mum n step dad are already in a load of debt coz they get ed about by peopel who owe them rent and peopel they decorate for. so basicalluy everything is completly ed!
my uncle is helping out my dad though, to get a job teaching science, but me dads gotta do a years training in that, before he can earn any decent money :( |

| thats ed up, my dads in a pretty ty situation at the moment, very simular to your dads, new boss, wanker, hates my dad, trying to sack him. Luckily my dads boss isn't too bright and half the stuff he's done already can be brought to tribunal for constructive dismissal. Hope things sort out for you and your family sharpish mate :) |

Sorry Ste mate about your dad, office politics is a ing nasty thing, its in every office unfortunatly in the country, the worst part is it goes unoticed a lot, because people don't want to mess with the MD or they leave when it gets too much its the problem with the way this countries social and employment structure has been formed thats the little I'm a rich bastard who lived off Mummy and Daddy at Oxford university usually win, and a lot of the time the little bastard above you has stabbed many peoples backs to rise up to that position, I don't mean all directors but theres always one in every firm who is like that, and in life something nasty will happen to them you'll see, they might sack the wrong person one day, who will really be pissed off and will never forget it. Bad happens to bad people trust me.
I hope your dad gets something good, he seems to be a intelligent bloke from what you've written, and I wish him the best in finding a new and better job. Also I hope his ex Manging director falls into a vat of chemicals. |

Im sure he can get a lot on unfair dismissel if he does it properly, coz this is totally out of order.
But im sure it wont be all bad for long. Everything picks up in the end mate :) |

this is where it would be different if everyone was a pill-head :)
im sure itll work out ste.. if he has been unfairly dismissed then he will have a case to just get his job back (plus compensation) then if they make him redundant after that he will have the 100k on top of the compensation, thus loaded ;) tell him to get a damn good lawyer and all will be good :) |

I know how you feel mate :(
My parents have barely had a job in my lifetime and have raised 5 kids in a 3 bedroom house. It's ty. In the last ten years my Dad's had about two temporary jobs both lasting a few months, and both him and my mam have a degree. They've been applying frequently for work too, it's ing ridiculous.
As soon as I have a job and some money I'm ing off from this area that's for sure.
Your dad should do whatever he can to get into work asap, any work, cos once you hit a certain age, noone wants to know, espescially round here.

harsh ste, my dad is gettin a loada crap at work atm aswell, none that is that fukkin bad like. im sure it will all pick up soon.
Anyway, raise your spirits coz ur gettin 2 c ferry 2morra and sss the day after, and nothing could make u more happy than over 24 hours of clubbing :) |
