did anyone hear Acquaviva drop D-Unity - Shake It in the main room?? Fackkkkkk!!

I had such a sick night, although I am probably the only one in here who thinks that Morillo isn't god. I really didnt dig his set as much as what I heard from other DJ's that night. I loved hearing Acquaviva's set, Benassi pleasantly surprised me too. The gallery stole the show for me though, some really crazy sound in there and just banging hard all night. I met Miss K, you were hot, Tom great time partying with you as always mate, and Kotsy I'm pretty sure i met you too.
Crowd wasnt too pushy which is always nice and i found i had loads of room to move. btw did anyone see that old dude with the chucky doll in his hand?? even better there was one guy around 5 am in the main room walking around like frankenstein with his eyes rolled in the back of his head like Jesus was standing in front of him. It's good to be back at the Guv again from my 8 month break :)

Posting a review seems like more fun than going to work.

Wow. It has been a 3 years since I've been at the Guv. A little apprehensive about going at first due to the not so knock me off my feet line up. Glad my friend convinced me to go to this over Circa.

The Guv was at the finest on Sunday night. The crowd was lovin' the tunes everywhere we wandered and the mainroom was off the hook!

As much as I hate to say it Benassi was awesome last night! Also enjoyed Z-Trip in the Drink and normally I can't stand Hip Hop! I couldn't wait to hear what he would be mashing up next! Wasn't overly impressed with Morillo - I needed something with more energy by that point in the night and we ended up leaving just before 5:00 AM.

lawrenceq - Frankenstein was definitely creepy. We needed to keep moving as when he wasn't finding Jesus on the ceiling he was grunting and rolling his eyes at us!

The gallery was ing nuts, Carlo Lio played the best set I've ever heard him play (and I've probably seen him 500+ times lol)

What's the point of this? It's just weird. I don't like it.

My night was great though. Managed to stay away from the voodoo doll freak, hung out with some great people, danced to some good beats. I was a little all over the place for a lot of the night, but what can you do. Met Jon Jon (lol), wore cone hats for Aleksandra's set (happy birthday), and MissK is awesome obviously. Kotsy too.

I do wish Morillo played a little harder in his last couple hours, but I guess that's not really his style. Also enjoyed a bunch Benny B's set with Lawrence, even though I was expecting to completely avoid him.

All in all, awesome time, but I need a break.

Also Canada Day lineup is ridiculous.
