ya i listened to it. first listen i thought it was utter garbage. second listen i began to like 2 songs. and now I kind of like it. About 6 of the songs are garbage but the rest are okay. The bonus tracks are pretty tight too and i think they were better then any song on the album i dont know hwy they didnt make the cut. other then 7 songs being completely , i thought the rest of the album was put together well. It followed a theme, it was made to sound like the frist half he was on full blown drugs going out of his mind,killing and raping people, then around midway he OD's, the last half of the album was about coming to terms with the fact he is addicted, and then a self healing tune, until the last song he completely relapses. I think it was smart. He's supposedly putting out a second album in the summer called relapse II so it may be a continuation of his relapse where hes crazy hard like the last song.
If you dont feel like listening to the whole album, I suggest listening to these few songs

the best 4 song son the album and if your only listening to the album for its individual songs then these four are probably the best. Btw production is amazing on this album give dre his props
There hasnt been much great hip hop for 2009, I enjoyed the last classified cd, and am waiting for the new royce album along with a rumored album from cage

see the problem is people dont listen to albums as a whole. they listen to single songs. so if the single song isnt appealing to them, or the artist is doing somehting different they hate on it because they dont like this or that. the problem also with artists is that they come out and become HUGE because they do what they want. they try something different to differentiate themselves from the rest of the artists. then they hit it big because its something new and exciting. but then they get caught up in record sales and the business behind it and stay out to please the fans....but the fans dont know what the they want. they want you to do the same ol at first and the artist does to keep the $$$ coming in, but then they dont want you to do it anymore because its old, but if you try something new theyre like ughh man that isnt like his old stuff wtf. So artists get to caught up with trying to please people when they get to high up there.
I beleive eminem is a creative guy, very creative. He should just say the fans and the critiques and the politics and put out somethig brand new and see if it catches.
Kanye West does it every album and as much as you people hate him you have to give him credit, hes always switching it up and its always working.
btw the classified album , is an amazing album. He made it so its like a choose your own adventure book and at the end of each song which tells a story he will be like "if you want to go into the club and check out what bob is doing by the bar go to track 15, if you want to head back to your place and get some ass form your girlfriend go to track 11"

persoanlly I didnt like underground i thought alot of the lyrics made no sense. what the is funions, and his last line of the album was squish my hard taco???? what does a hard taco have to do with anything

HAHAHAHAH sounds like he's trying to use "shock value" that would have shocked America 10 years ago. Plus he looks like one of those angry white guys that sleeps with men and has a girlfriend on the side. He's played out.
