Anyone use or used one? Been offered one for a great price, but it will cut into my Virus C savings bank! So not sure whether to get it or not

I produce trance, ambient. Love ethereal sounds.

If im not mistaken, that synth is exactly the same as V-Station.

V Station is modelled on the K Station. I have V Station, I suppose the question now is will buying an A Station give me anything that the V Station doesn't - other than less demand on my PC's processor of course.......

A Station is simply a rack version of K Station.

You can look at the specs here:

Ah ha!!! I have been educated. That helps.

Cheers

The A-Station has a vocoder in it. Sometimes a cheap hardware synth, with a vocoder, can be cheaper than a VST. A-Stations and MS2000Rs are such synths.

Like others have said, there isn't really any point in buying the synth itself though, when you can just use V-Station.

You def won´t find the a-station for less than a new v-station copy :p

No, I mean a hardware vocoder can be cheaper than a VST vocoder.

The A-Station was my very first real synthesizer .... and I sold it just a few days after it arrived. I got a great deal on a Virus Rack and was 10x happier.

I did some comparisons of the A-Station vs. V-Station ... they were exactly the same 95% of the time. A real let-down.

Just bought a B, ideally wanted a C but could not stretch the money to it. Its a start though and not a bad start for my first piece of hardware! Glad I asked on here about the A Station.

Cheers to all ;)
